  • The Forts

    Discover Nassau’s colonial-era fortifications that provides insight into Nassau's strategic importance during the 18th century: Fort Charlotte (a personal favorite!), Fort Fincastle, Fort Montegue and Fort Nassau.

  • Clifton Heritage Park

  • John Watling’s Rum Distillery

  • The Queen's Staircase

  • The Straw Market

    If you’re downtown, it’s hard to pass up a visit to the Straw Market, a bustling hub for local crafts, souvenirs, and handmade goods.

  • The Primeval Forest

    This undisturbed, old-growth woodland is representative of the early evergreen tropical hardwood forests of the Bahamas. It’s an easy 30 min hike through the forest.

  • The Caves

    Legend has it, these caves was once an old pirate hide-out. This roadside attraction with underground caverns and rock formations. It’s a short, memorable visit and great for kids.

  • Bahamar Resort

    Baha Mar is a luxury resort in the Bahamas located right on the Cable Beach strip. Many restaurants, the golf course and the casino are open to the public, while a day pass to the water park costs about $150/person.

  • Atlantis Resort

    Atlantis Resort is an iconic destination known for its expansive water park, marine habitats and diverse entertainment options. Restaurants and golf are open to the public, while the water park costs about $200/person.

  • Swim With the Piggies

    It’s a full day tour, and well worth it! Exuma is about 2 hrs by boat - and it’s where you can do it all: swim with native pigs and feed wild stingrays, sharks and iguanas. There are many tour options - we like Powerboat Adventures for a single-day trip.

  • Visit Rose Island

    Rose Island is a beautiful, nearly untouched island just 20-min from. Nassau by boat. Spend the day snorkeling, swimming and beaching without going too far from home.
